It's always fun to have Sara and Shane Scribner in the gallery. Married and working side by side, their technique and focus on the female figure is closely tied. However, their choice in how to approach the female figure is very different. Sara uses the female figure in a magic realism setting, evoking a sense of feminine strength and otherworldlyness. Shane focuses on the female form as shape and at times as pattern. The results from both artists are breathtaking, beautiful depictions of feminine beauty- inside and out.
