In my paintings, I try to show the viewer the underlying design elements in a given scene. I have a particular affinity for cityscapes and transportation themes, as these subjects lend themselves to my modern design sensibility. One of my goals in painting is to share the beauty of abstract shapes found within a realistic setting, and to combine realism with abstraction. I've found that painting is the perfect medium to express the beauty of designs that I notice in everyday scenes.

Southwest Art Magazine published her painting "Hotel Room" in the April 2010 issue. The painting is included in their Art Values column, which features painters of interior scenes.
