Leslie Sealey

My new series of paintings challenges the idea of the traditional still life. Although the objects themselves are painted in a realistic manner, the settings they occupy are from imagination, or they reference other modern works of art. By placing familiar, everyday objects in a new context, I hope to create a bridge between representational and abstract art.
