There is a certain degree of voyeurism in the content of my artwork. A large percentage of the imagery is staged, and sometimes taken from multiple sources, or by means of direct observation. I present the image as a naturalistic scene that conveys a feeling of intimacy showing the characters involved in their activities as if oblivious to the presence of the viewer. They are shown like actors on a stage, or framed cinematically, to capture the nuance of their everyday behavior, making it more monumental and iconic.
