Atchetee graduated in 2005 with a Bachelors degree in Painting from Texas State University. Since then, Atchetee has vigorously pursued her art career.

Atchetee's work reflects themes of nature, focusing on the behaviors of animals with emphasis on birds. Her artwork presents raw emotions, such as playfulness, protection and desire.

Atchetee primarily works with acrylic on canvas and often incorporates mixed media, which adds texture, complexity and unique elements to her artwork. Atchetee utilizes a strong sense of color combination, pulling together earth tones and bright colors.

Atchetee's birds consist of hundreds of thinly painted flowing and layered brush strokes. Her artwork brings nature out of the realm of realism.
